About This Project

‘Silent Spaces’ is a photography series I have been working on for the past 4-5 years documenting public places around the world that are, in one instance, empty.

I’m inspired by the museums that have created their own virtual walkthroughs, and by the filmmakers who are making their films available to be streamed online for free during the COVID-19 induced quarantine period. I’ve been holding onto this work as I piece it together, hoping to one day show it in a gallery space. However, it seems apt that a photography project documenting place and space should take place and be accessible virtually.

The exhibition can be accessed here.
